A bit about us
We’re Matt and Joanna, a Kiwi couple who have been itching to venture out of New Zealand since we started dating three years ago. We were originally intending to spend four months traveling in 2020 before the good old pandemic came along with other plans for us.
Having now packed up our flat and sold all our belongings, we’re ready to take the plunge and embark on a semi-planned, semi-unplanned summer in Europe. So far on the line up we have a Medsailors trip in Turkey, Ultra festival, Tomorrowland, Formula 1 in Italy and a whole bunch of other good stuff.
Who is Joanna?
Heya, I’m Joanna – a half Kiwi, half English event manager. I have spent the past few years trying to survive the events landscape in a pandemic world, so I am so ready to get out of NZ and do something different! In my spare time I love reading, pottery, working out and watching a whole lot of trashy reality TV. I was born in the UK and have been lucky to go back quite a few times, with little holidays around the place along the way, but it’s been a long time so I can’t wait to get on the road.
Who is Matt?
I’m Matt, a videographer and photographer by trade. I run my own production company, Envy, in New Zealand and have taught myself pretty much everything I know on Youtube! I am quite adventurous and am always picking up new hobbies…think parkour, scootering, skim boarding, bouldering. Anything dangerous basically. I was born and raised in New Zealand and apart from the occasional trip to Aussie or the Islands I haven’t done too much travel – so I’m super excited to see what Europe has to offer.
